Founder & Managing Attorney
Tatyana Agarunov is the founder and managing attorney of Agarunov Law Firm, P.C., a New York City law practice dedicated to providing exceptional legal services to individuals, businesses, and healthcare providers. Licensed to practice law in both New York and New Jersey, Tatyana serves clients across both states from offices in Manhattan's Financial District and Englewood, New Jersey.
A graduate of the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University, Tatyana earned her Juris Doctor in 2011 and was admitted to the bar in 2012. With over a decade of experience, she handles complex transactions, regulatory compliance, and dispute resolution across multiple practice areas.
Tatyana's practice spans residential and commercial real estate, entertainment law, business formation and corporate transactions, healthcare law and regulatory compliance, family law, labor and employment, and professional and business licensing. Her approach combines thorough legal analysis with practical business sense, ensuring clients receive advice that addresses both their immediate needs and long-term objectives.
Prior to founding Agarunov Law Firm, Tatyana developed her skills at prominent law firms in the New York metropolitan area, gaining experience in complex real estate closings, corporate transactions, and commercial litigation. This background enables her to handle sophisticated legal issues while maintaining the personalized attention and accessibility that distinguish a client-focused practice.

What sets Agarunov Law Firm apart from larger practices
Tatyana handles every matter personally from initial consultation through resolution. Clients speak directly with their attorney, not a receptionist or paralegal relaying messages.
A real estate closing may involve business structuring questions. An entertainment deal may require healthcare compliance review. Tatyana draws on experience across all seven practice areas to identify issues that a single-focus attorney might miss.
With active bar admissions in New York and New Jersey, plus federal court admissions in both the Eastern and Southern Districts, clients with matters crossing state lines do not need to retain separate counsel.
Legal advice is delivered with an understanding of real-world business constraints. The goal is to protect clients while keeping transactions moving, not to generate billable hours through unnecessary complexity.
